Man absconds from Castle Huntly open prison while on home leave
A PRISONER has gone on the run from Castle Huntly open prison in Dundee after being released for home leave.
Ian Lennox, 32, was due to return to on March 26.
He was sentenced to eight years and three months in jail in September 2008 for assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
He is 5ft 7in with short brown hair, green eyes, a fresh complexion and has a tattoo on his left shoulder.
Police said he is known to have family and friends in the Cumbernauld and Saltcoats areas.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Tayside Police.
