Man's laptop stolen in late night attack outside home
A MAN has been assaulted and robbed of his laptop outside his house.
The 22-year-old was returning home after a night out when he stopped to collect a laptop from the boot of his car in Craigs Park, Corstorphine.
He was approached by the two suspects, who assaulted him and stole the computer, along with his mobile phone.
They were last seen making off in the direction of Craigs Park Drive at around 1.30am on Sunday morning.
The victim could only provide a description of one of the suspects, who is described as being between 18 and 30 years old, 5ft 10ins to 6ft tall, stocky build, and wearing a dark top, dark Adidas tracksuit bottoms with three stripes, and white trainers, possibly Reebok classics.
A police spokesman said: "While the victim wasn't seriously injured as a result of this assault, he was still shaken as a result of his ordeal, and we are keen to speak to anyone that can assist our enquiries."
