Man nails his hand to floor
EMERGENCY services were called out to help a man who had nailed his hand to the floor.
Ambulance and fire crews were called to Croftfoot Drive, Fauldhouse, at 12.30am today.
The man had accidentally nailed his hand to the floor with a nail gun.
Firefighters used a floorboard saw to free him and he was taken by ambulance to Wishaw General Hospital.
Firefighters were also called to a chip pan fire at Largo Place, Edinburgh, at 12.15am. They rescued a 64-year-old man, who was treated for smoke inhalation.
