Man has plastic fork piece removed from lung
A man plagued with coughing fits for two years was found to have a 1in piece of plastic fork in his lung inhaled while sucking a soft drink.
Doctors at North Carolina's Duke University Medical Centre said the fragment ingested in a burger restaurant caused the coughing, fatigue and pneumonia spells that John Manley suffered.
They removed it from the 50-year-old's left lung during surgery.
