Wood Group arm's Canadian contract

PART of Aberdeen-based energy services giant Wood Group yesterday won a two-year contract to carry out engineering and project management work for Shell's oil and gas drilling operations in western Canada.

Calgary-based IMV Projects - which was founded in 1999 and employs about 650 people - has worked for Shell in Alaska and Canada since 2004. Wood Group bought IMV in 2007.
