A MAN has been arrested in connection with an alleged rape in a Glasgow park, it has emerged.

Following an investigation, Police announced that a 24-year-old man was in custody on Friday over an assault that took place at the end of March.

The victim, 37, was attacked on the night of 30th March in Glasgow’s Queen’s Park.

A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal. The man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday 11th April.
