MEMBERS of the public have been invited to a general meeting about the controversial trams network.

City leader Ewan Aitken has arranged the meeting at Telford College in North Edinburgh to ensure people are fully informed about the project.

Council officials at the heart of the scheme will be on hand to explain the details of the plans and to answer any questions from members of the public.

The meeting is set to start at 4pm on Wednesday.
