Make a meal of top chefs’ classes

EDINBURGH School of Food and Wine’s food heroes classes are offering an invaluable opportunity to cook and learn under the guidance of some of the country’s finest talents.

Each chef will demonstrate three dishes from their restaurants, after which you will go to a workstation to replicate – and then eat – each dish.

There will also be matching wines to accompany your meal.

n Mithas – Scotland’s indian restaurant of the year – which is based in Dock Place, Leith, has launched a competition to win a once-in-a-lifetime Indian experience, with flights, hotels and a visit to the Taj Mahal.

It’s a thank you from the owners to the people of Edinburgh for 60 years of support and kindness, and also marks the restaurant’s first year in business.
