A lorry and a 23-ton digger have been recovered from sea after sliding down a harbour pier.

The digger was being unloaded from the lorry when both vehicles fell into the water in Tobermory Harbour on the Isle of Mull.

The JCB digger was being unloaded on Tuesday night before it was due to carry out work to a nearby ferry slipway.

No-one was injured in the incident and the emergency services helped retrieve the vehicles.
