Living the good life in Lothian
EAST Lothian residents have one of the best qualities of life among rural areas in Scotland, according to a new survey.
The region came second only to Aberdeenshire in life expectancy, rates of home ownership and quality of schools, according to the Bank of Scotland survey.
East Lothian residents enjoy the best weather in Scotland – 25.6 hours of sunshine a week and 710mm of rain a year.
