Lion Rampant

Have your say

In response to Robert M Dunn’s letter (11 July), the Lion Rampant flag is the flag of Scottish kings and queens dating back to the 1200s.

The current monarch (Elizabeth 1 of Scotland) may also use this flag but it is fundamentally a Scottish flag to be used by the monarchs of Scotland.

A Royal warrant is in existence allowing both citizens and corporate bodies to use the flag with impunity.
