Leukaemia charity set to have a ball at hotel
A CHARITY which matches bone marrow donors with leukaemia sufferers is to hold a lavish ball in the city.
The Anthony Nolan Trust will stage the Daisy Ball on Saturday at the Sheraton Hotel with the hope of raising tens of thousands of pounds.
Regional fundraiser Allan Johnston said: "The main aim of the ball is to raise vital funds, which will allow us to continue with our work of saving the lives of the hundreds of children and adults, who suffer from leukaemia and immune deficiency disease every year."
