Sliding support for separation

THE difficulty in maintaining a positive spin on the separation front must be getting extremely hard. Polls would indicate it could well be more like total humiliation rather than simple defeat.

Numbers continue to drop for those in favour of separation and the SNP spin now seems to be towards a two-question paper.

This would appear to be the only possible lifeline – meanwhile, continue to fudge and obfuscate, get the usual gullible suspects to do the work, that seems to be the modus operandi.

The arrogance seems to be dropping as quickly as the policies on Nato, the monarchy, the Bank of England and countless others, even the definition of “British’’.

They now cling to the two-question get-out like a drowning man to a lifebelt. If this is the pitiable state the Break-up the UK camp has been reduced to, they are indeed in dire straits.
