Pointing fingers

There’s this thing called hubris which seems to have bypassed Brian Wilson in his clamour for summary justice for rotten bankers (Perspective, 4 July).

While I am not against criminal proceedings against those who presided over the worst excesses of casino banking, you have to ask Mr Wilson if he was so vocal about incarceration for those who were less forthcoming during the Hutton Inquiry and during the MPs’ institutionalised expenses fiddle.
