In MY long ago Labour Party days I sparred regularly with Bob Taylor so it gives me great pleasure to agree with his wonderful letter (29 September).

Money or lack of it can have no bearing on health. I have always believed that free health care was a tenet of any socialist party. Sadly, socialist no longer defines the Labour Party.
