Keepers of seals
YOUR report (24 September) on the imminent seal cull “cover-up” filled me with revulsion.
We resent these creatures for daring to disrupt our fish farms, grotesque concentrations of up to 10,000 fish crammed into each cage, bloated with chemicals and toxins to await a cruel slaughter at the end of their prescribed term, all in the service of human greed.
We resent them for daring to threaten “our” fish stocks, when we catch and kill many millions of fish a year only to throw them back dead into the ocean for the sake of quota restrictions.
Good luck to the seals, I say, and all power to those who seek to curb the intent of their slaughterers.
