Green absurdities

AL GORE’S global-warming sham confirmed environmental risks are usually exaggerated and governments devote substantial resources to trivial or even non- existent problems.

Across the decades we have seen one Malthusian apocalypse after another collapse and why credence should still be given to this obscure Anglican cleric is beyond me.

As expected, the Rio+20 eco-jolly collapsed under the weight of its own absurdity, with the developing world refusing to further accommodate Europe’s environmental fetishes.

Of course that did not prevent 200,000 jet-setting activists packing the Copacabana strip in yet another pointless green shindig held in yet another luxurious five-star resort.
