So GORM, the sea eagle chick, should have fledged a few weeks ago like his sister, but is refusing to leave the nest (your report, 13 August).

My grandson is behaving in a similar manner, but that’s because his degree has been of no benefit in finding employment and he can’t afford to live alone.

What’s Gorm’s excuse?
