Golf conundrum

regarding the row over the proposed wind farm near Menie (your reports), it has been suggested that siting the farm proposed for Aberdeen Bay anywhere along the north-east coast would satisfy all concerned.

I disagree, however. Move it north and it would be seen from the impressive Cruden Bay course. Further north still and it would be seen from the Peterhead and Fraserburgh courses. Move south of Aberdeen and the wind farm would come into view from Portlethen course or the Stonehaven golf course, which – as anyone who has played it – can testify affords some of the most stunning coastline views from any course anywhere in Scotland.

As for boosting the economy and job prospects, I think you shall find that the proposed wind farm is set to provide a far more secure economy than Donald Trump’s golf development and a far larger proportion of full-time jobs.
