Game’s over

IT SEEMS, according to weekend reports, that Cardinal Keith O’Brien has decided to suspend direct communication with the Scottish Government over his continued objection to gay marriage.

I imagine many Scots will be supportive and proud of this long overdue initiative and I am not surprised that the debate has exhausted all nuance given celibate O’Brien’s continued assertion that it is a “grotesque subversion of a universally accepted human right”. It can only be a good thing that such an individual has decided to take his ba’ home.
