In the 1950s, more than two million Scots signatures in favour of independence were handed to London. In 1979, the Unionists counted the dead as ‘no’ votes.

This time around, the public have given the SNP-led Scottish Government a huge mandate and no amount of posturing or lies from the  Unionist camp will sway  the result.
