I’VE been to three Edinburgh Festival Fringe shows so far this year. While I was waiting, I bought a pint, and met up with friends afterwards for another pint.

Bang goes more than £60. If so many performers lose money when they come up here in August, and we, the punters, spend over the odds on tickets and expensive  alcohol (for which we must always queue), where is all the money going?
