Attack on defence

WHY does Nicola Sturgeon – and others of that ilk – choose to call a nuclear weapon one of attack as opposed to one of defence, as I believe?

The bully only attacks the meek and the mild, rarely those who can strike back.

The nuclear option is only a big stick for the bully to see. Remember the Bay of Pigs?

It is time all politicians stopped posturing and using nuclear, welfare and other such issues as political footballs and got down to the business they were elected for: the welfare of the country as a whole.

We need selfless leadership, not self-aggrandisement.
