Letter: Held to account

It is a known fact that poisoned raptors die near the place where they injested the poison (your report, 15 March). It requires a small change in the law to make the landowners responsible where these birds are found. They would then deal with the employees who perpetrate these crimes and put a stop to them. They couldn't wash their hands of the consequences as they do at present.
