Lend a hand for a Greener community
GREENER LEITH has set up a swapping site for residents to trade items and services.
Locals are encouraged to lend belongings or skills to people, or even spaces such as a room or a garden. The site, run through national website Ecomodo.com, uses Paypal, which allows people to lend things for a fee.
More expensive items can be protected by a deposit or insurance policy. Greener Leith is encouraging people to sign up to build up the lending circle. It is free to join. Visit: www.snipurl.com/ecomodo
