Leith Festival launches this year's events
THE Leith Festival is celebrating the launch of its Festival Programme.
A private launch party is being held tonight at The Out of the Blue Drill Hall, organised by Forth Ports which was last month announced as the main sponsor of the Leith Festival for the second year.
One of Scotland's largest community events in Edinburgh, it will see a range of gigs, theatre productions and other events from May 30 to June 8.
A spokesman said: "The Leith Festival continues to grow and this year there are more events than ever.
"Above all, the Leith Festival is a community event for young and old alike and there are opportunities for everyone to join in."
