Legal aid for cancer charity
CITY solicitors have raised more than £40,000 for a cancer charity at a one-off event.
The group clubbed together to organise the fundraiser at Harburn House in West Lothian and managed to raise the sum thanks to pledges and donations.
Ritchie Neill solicitors offered free will writing in exchange for a donation to Cancer Research UK.
Cancer Research UK's Sally Graham said: "We were delighted with the generosity of everyone who attended. More than 20,000 was pledged on the evening and we are expecting that figure to grow to over 40,000."
