Last of T in the Park tickets sell in 90 minutes

THE final tickets for Scotland's biggest music festival sold out in less than 90 minutes yesterday.

About 40,000 tickets went on sale for T in The Park yesterday, with some music lovers camping out in pouring rain to make sure they could attend.

The bulk of tickets, on sale at stores in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee, were gone in an hour.

The rural Kinross-shire festival, which runs between 9 and 11 July, is the first show announced in Europe by Eminem for five years.

Kasabian were the first band to be unveiled for the 2010 line-up at the end of last year and on Tuesday this week organisers announced rappers Eminem and Jay-Z would be headlining the event.
