JOHN Swinney donned a yellow and blue baseball cap as he took time out from campaigning in the Pollok area of Glasgow alongside local SNP candidate Humza Yousaf.

While spinning the decks at South West Art and Music Project (SWAMP) the deputy first minister was heard saying: “This looks really difficult. I’m now changing my mind about it.”

The MSP for Perthshire North was being egged on by his party colleague and charity workers who dubbed him “MC Swinney” and “DJ Swinney”.

On Facebook, Humza Yousaf posted: “MC Swinney dropping beatz on the campaign trail in Glasgow Pollok.

“Thanks to SWAMP for hosting us - a great project that I’ve been delighted to support over the years.

“They use media/arts to give young people confidence and skills that they can use to get into further/higher education or the workplace.”
