Jodi Killer Mitchell turns 18 in cell
TEENAGE killer Luke Mitchell celebrated his 18th birthday alone in his tiny prison cell yesterday.
The murderer of schoolgirl Jodi Jones refused to leave his room at Polmont Young Offender's Institution where he is serving a minimum 20-year sentence.
Most young offenders are allowed to have a visit around once a week, so Mitchell would most likely have been able to receive a visitor yesterday to mark the occasion.
But sources at Polmont, Stirlingshire reportedly said Mitchell continued his regime of spending every day alone and shunning fellow inmates.
