JK set to win Person of Year

JK ROWLING looks set to fend off competition from the likes of Hillary Clinton and Al Gore to win a prestigious award.

The Harry Potter author is the front runner in Time magazine's Person of the Year awards, and has already received more than 36,000 votes on its website - 14,000 more than former US vice-president Gore, who many tipped to win the prize.
