Jet2 launches Glasgow first
Customer demand has led to a holiday specialist introducing its first direct service to New York from Glasgow Airport.
Jet2holidays has announced the package just over a month after it started operating from the airport.
Starting on 17 November, the deal includes return flights to Newark Airport and three-star accommodation for four nights.
Airline Jet2.com has previously operated successful breaks to New York from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports.
Amanda McMillan, managing director of Glasgow Airport, said: "The company has gone from strength to strength since its arrival at Glasgow."
