A WOMAN who allowed her home to be used as a safe house for a consignment of heroin has been jailed for two years.
Kelly Hastie, of Prestonpans, East Lothian, claimed the 160 bags of heroin were for her own use.
That was rejected by jurors who convicted her by majority at Haddington Sheriff Court last month.
The court was told Hastie, who appeared for sentencing on Wednesday, had a conviction for possession with intent to supply from 13 years ago.
She was admonished on a charge of possessing cocaine.
