It's a rubbish job, but someone has to do it..
VOLUNTEERS have removed 200 cubic metres of rubbish from the Water of Leith, enough to fill more than 25 skips.
The Water of Leith Conservation Trust is calling on locals to help with its clean-ups and fundraising efforts, with the next event scheduled for Sunday August 3, between Gorgie Road and Saughton Park.
The trust has already held 32 clean-ups this year, with 570 people helping.
A meeting for those interested in becoming patrollers is on Monday, July 28 at 6pm at the Water of Leith Visitor Centre.
