POLICE are investigating the “unexplained” death of a man aged in his 20s in a property in Inverness city centre.

The discovery was made this morning around 9am at a “house of multiple occupancy” where many of the flats are used by homeless or DSS tenants.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We can confirm a report of the unexplained death of a man in his 20s in a dwelling in Baron Taylor Street, Inverness.

“A post mortem will be carried out and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
