Food plans on menu

NEW efforts are being made to boost business in Midlothian by highlighting the quality of local food and drink.

Midlothian Council and VisitScotland hosted a food and drink workshop recently as part of the effort.

It is also hoped a council-led group will be established to set up events in Midlothian during Scottish Food and Drink Fortnight in September.
