Two die after mob sets bus ablaze

Two people have died in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo after the bus in which they were travelling was set alight.

Local reports said a group of people attacked the vehicle with sticks and stones as it arrived at its destination, a park in northern Sao Paulo early, on yesterday morning. They then threw flammable materials into the bus before fleeing. The incident took place amid a wave of violence in the city that has seen a big increase in the number of murders.
