Two dead after jet crash in South Bend, Indiana

TWO people have died after a private jet crashed near South Bend Regional Airport, Indiana.

The Beechcraft Premier I twin-jet crashed on late Sunday afternoon, hitting three homes and injuring three others, authorities have said.

The jet, which left from Tulsa, Oklahome’s Riverside Airport, was said to have been experiencing mechanical trouble.

The three people injured in the crash are reportedly being treated at South Bend Memorial Hospital. One of the injured is said to be in a serious condition.
