Toyota recalls 4m vehicles in US
TOYOTA is to recall four million vehicles in the US to fix a fault which means accelerator pedals can get stuck in floor mats.
Dealers will offer to shorten the length of the pedals by about 2cm as a stop gap measure while the firm develops replacement pedals.
Models affected include the Camry, the top-selling car in the US, and the Prius hybrid.
The floor mats involved are sold only in the US.
