Terreblanche’s killer gets life
A South African court sentenced a black farm-hand to life in prison yesterday for the axe murder of Eugene Terreblanche, an apartheid-era white supremacist.
Chris Mahlangu killed Terre’blanche over a pay dispute in April 2011 at his farm in Ventersdorp, about 80 miles west of Johannesburg.
Terreblanche led the Afrikaner Resistance Movement, or AWB.
A second man, a minor at the time of the murder, was found guilty of housebreaking and given a suspended sentence.
