Taleban 'behind New York bomb'
WHITE House officials said yesterday that the Pakistani Taleban was behind the failed car bombing in New York's Times Square.
The attempt marks the first time the group has been able to launch an attack on US soil.
The finding raises new questions about the US relationship with Pakistan, known to have al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups operating within its borders.
Suspected US missiles yesterday killed ten people in a militant-controlled region of Pakistan, the first such strike since alleged Pakistani-trained extrem-ist Faisal Shahzad was accused of the Times Square attack.
