Staff disciplined for scolding passengers

Lebanon’s national airline says it has disciplined an employee after a passenger complained that staff at Beirut airport told passengers from the Philippines over the loudspeaker: “Filipino people, stop talking.”

The airline, MEA, had promised an investigation after a social media campaign.
