Spanish police bust marijuana network

Spain’s Interior Ministry says police have arrested 25 people and dismantled an illegal marijuana production network on the Canary island of Gran Canaria that was being used to provide funding for an organised crime gang in Serbia.

The investigation began following the February arrest in Spain of Vladimir Milisavljevic, who was convicted in the 2003 assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.
