Soldier sues over hospital frostbite

A FORMER US soldier is suing a US veterans’ hospital claiming that excessive ice-pack treatment on his groin led to the amputation of his penis.

Michael Nash claims ice packs repeatedly put on him after surgery, caused frostbite and gangrene. He is suing the federal government in a Kentucky court seeking $10 million (£612,000) for alleged medical malpractice.
