Shuttle hit by second delay
BAD weather forced Nasa to postpone the launch of the space shuttle Discovery yesterday for the second consecutive day, with the next launch attempt set for tomorrow.
Lift-off was cancelled minutes after the seven crew members boarded the shuttle. Nasa forecasters had estimated only a 30 per cent chance that weather would favour launch, as thunder clouds menaced the Kennedy Space Center.
