Saudi executes ‘adulterous witch’

Saudi Arabia has executed a man for witchcraft and adultery.

“Mareeh bin Ali bin Issa al-Asiri practised sorcery, and learnt to harm God’s worshippers and admitted adultery with two women,” said the interior ministry in Riyadh.

Amnesty said Saudi executed at least 82 people last year, many by public beheading.
