Ransom deal frees ship held by pirates
A CARGO ship held for more than five months by Somali pirates has been freed after a ransom was paid, European officials said last night.
The EU Naval Force said the British vessel Asian Glory was released with its 25 crew from Ukraine, Bulgaria, India and Romania. The Asian Glory was hijacked on 1 January.
