Quake chopper still missing

A HELICOPTER with seven people aboard that disappeared near the Afghan-Pakistan border following a Red Cross mission to aid quake survivors is still missing after five days, an official said today.

"The search operations are still ongoing," said Red Cross spokeswoman Layla Berlemont Shtewi.

The Mi-8 transport chopper disappeared on Saturday after taking off from the Pakistani city of Peshawar.
