Panda Bao Bao, 34, dies in Berlin zoo

ONE of the world’s oldest giant pandas, Bao Bao, who was given to West Germany by China in 1980, has died, Berlin Zoo said yesterday.

The zoo said the 34-year-old bear died early on Wednesday after his health deteriorated over the past few months.
