Pahor retains power in Slovenia election
Former Prime Minister Borut Pahor yesterday won Slovenia’s presidential election in the crisis-hit EU country with 67.3 per cent of the vote. Incumbent Danilo Turk won 32.97 per cent in a vote held amid growing discontent with the government’s anti-austerity measures and only two days after protests against them erupted in clashes.
